July is inspired by one of the greatest American body builders: Mike Mentzer. In 1978, Mike was the first (and only) person to receive a perfect score at Mr. Universe. Mentzer had a signature training styling called HIT- high intensity training (not to be confused with HIIT) or it was also called Heavy Duty. The idea is a quick, but brutal workout with a heavy emphasis on good recovery. We will be effective but quick in July so that summer can be more easily enjoyed. Murica!
